The Voice of 6th grade: What do you think about the homework load?
"I can handle it, just give less when the play comes around."
"I think that it is a good thing to help us study at home."
"It is a little too much."
"Sometimes it can be a lot but it's okay."
"It takes too much time out of our lives."
Was battle of the classes fair? Why or why not?
"Yes because we had more people."
"No because in chase the 6th grade didn't get to run."
"The teachers didn't choose the best students for our grade."
"Yes because they all played fair."
"The other two grades had unfair advantages."
How could it be improved for next year?
"Make it harder for the 7th and 8th grade."
"Less 8th grade for chase.
"They could have more games."
Do you think 6th grade had a chance of winning? Why or why not?
"Maybe because we have strong and smart people."
"I think that they had a 25% chance because most 6th graders are very athletic."
"No because we can't beat them in skill, fastness and strength."
"Yes because we are winners."

What is your opinion regarding the homework load?
"Too much when it comes to projects."
"There is a lot of homework, and it makes me stay up late, so I am tiered during school."
"There is way too much homework. I work for about three hours per night. I work way too long and have no time for other things."
How did you like the school play?
"It was really good."
"I think the play is a great activity."
"It was the best play!"
"The play was good, I was in it."
"Well performed."
Were the canteens a success? Why or why not?
"I met up with my friends and had a great time!"
"Girl's night was extremely fun! I think we should have them more often."
"It is really boring and the songs are old."
Would you rather have Home Ec. or Technology next year?
"Home Ec. because I love cooking and eating and my mom wants me to learn how to cook."
"Home Ec. because we already have three computer labs here. I think another one would be a waste."

"Home Ec. because it helps me for when I grow up and when I live on my own."
"Home Ec. because we already have enough computer labs and we know how to use a computer."
Would you rather have one full year of Spanish or two half years of Spanish? Give reasons.
"I would rather have a full year of Spanish, so I can remember it better."
"Two halves so I wont get bored."
"Two because it is fun to learn a new language."

"I think the school should have healthier foods, like salad."
"There is not enough variety."
"The nacho cheese is terrible."
"It is decent but there should be larger portions."

"I like the bullying notices."
